A Message from the Principal

Jeff Harbal

Perkins High School is dedicated to challenging students and encouraging them to pursue their passions.

What an outstanding 2018-19 school year we had at PHS. Perkins is blessed to have outstanding students and staff who continue to shine in all areas. This year was no different.

In the 2018-19 school year, PHS students excelled in the classroom, in athletics, and in all extracurriculars. We had students win math competitions, become professional drone racers, earn a trip to the New York Stock Exchange, and win national art awards. PHS also had a state wrestling champion.

Our students also worked hard to create a positive caring culture in which all students feel safe.  This was evident in the expansion and work of our students and counselors through Move 2 Stand. What an exciting year!

We look forward to 2019-20 and the continued success of our students.

In the 2019-20 school year, PHS will be expanding the Academy Experience for students from a pilot of 20 students to more than 60. The Academy Experience allows students to choose their future path with an internship experience, as well as upper level course work in their chosen field.

Perkins High School will also be moving to the traditional grading scale that most major universities are using. Our staff and students will continue to focus on social emotional learning and creating opportunities for all students. We will continue to push our students to their full potential by offering 12 AP courses.

At Perkins Schools, we are always looking to provide the best customer service for all of our stakeholders. Please feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or concerns.  I can be reached by phone (419) 625-1252, or email jharbal@perkinsschools.org
